【摘要】:ThisclauseofPart1isreplacedbythefollowing.ThisInternationalStandarddealswiththesafetyofelectricdryironsandsteamirons,includingthosewithaseparatewaterreservoirorboilerhavingacapacitynotexceeding5I,forhouseholdandsimilarpurposes,theirratedvoltagebeingnotmorethan250V.Appliancesnotintendedfornormalhouseholduse,butwhichneverthelessmaybeasourceofdangertothepublic,suchasappliancesintendedtobeusedbylaymeninshops,inlightindustryandonfarms,arewithinthescopeofthisstandard.Asfarasispracticable,thisstandarddealswiththecommonhazardspresentedbyapplianceswhichareencounteredbyallpersonsinandaroundthehome.However,ingeneral,itdoesnottakeintoaccount-persons(includingchildren)whose~physical,sensoryormentalcapabilities;or~lackofexperienceandknowledgepreventsthemfromusingtheappliancesafelywithoutsupervisionorinstruction;-childrenplayingwiththeappliance.NOTE101Attentionisdrawntothefactthat-forappliancesintendedtobeusedinvehiclesoronboardshipsoraircraft,additionalrequirementsmaybenecessary;-inmanycountriesadditionalrequirementsarespecifiedbythenationalhealthauthorities,thenationalauthoritiesresponsiblefortheprotectionoflabourandsimilarauthorities;-additionalrequirementsforpressurevesselsmaybespecifiedbythenationalauthoritiesresponsibleforthesafetyofpressurevessels.NOTE102Thisstandarddoesnotapplyto-ironers(IEC60335-2-44);-appliancesdesignedexclusivelyforindustrialpurposes;-appliancesintendedtobeusedinlocationswherespecialconditionsprevail,suchasthepresenceofacorrosiveorexplosiveatmosphere(dust,vapourorgas).
