【摘要】:ThismethodisfordeterminingindividualC6throughC10aromaticcompoundsinpetroleumdistillatesoraromaticconcentrateshavingafinalboilingpointof210176;Corlower.C11andheavieraromaticsarereportedasagroup.C10andheaviernon-aromaticsmayinterferewiththedeterminationofbenzeneandtoluene.Whenthisoccurs,benzeneandtoluenecanbedeterminedbyASTMMethodsD5443,D5580,D6729,orD6839,orUOPMethods690,or870.OtherapplicationsforthismethodincludetheassayofanyC10orlowerboilingaromatics,suchasbenzene,toluene,mixedxylenes,etc.ThismethodmayalsobeusedtoprovideadistributionofC8aromaticsand/orC9andheavieraromaticstoavaluedeterminedbyadifferentmethod.Whenusedforanyoftheaboveapplications,thequantitationlimitforasinglearomaticcomponentis0.01mass-%.
