【摘要】:DD243givesrecommendationsforthedesign,installationandconfigurationofintruderalarmsystems(IASs)thatincorporatealarmconfirmationtechnology,wheresuchIASshavesignallingsystemsthatsignaltoanalarmreceivingcentre(ARC)andrequireapoliceresponse.DD243includesrecommendationsintendedtominimizethelikelihoodoffalsealarms.DD243isintendedtobereadinconjunctionwithandsupplementsthestandardsgiveninthedocumentandinparticularEN50131(asimplementedbyPD6662).Hold-upalarms(whethertheyarestand-alonehold-upalarmsystems(HAS)orthehold-uppartofanIAS)arebeyondthescopeofDD243.NOTE1Thisdoesnotmeanthathold-updevicescannotbeincludedaspartofanIASincorporatingalarmconfirmationtechnology.NOTE2ThisDraftforDevelopmentisintendedtoapplytoIASsinstalledinEngland,WalesandNorthernIreland.AttentionisdrawntothefactthatwithregardtothisDraftforDevelopment,theAssociationofChiefPoliceOfficersofScotlandhasannouncedanintentiontoadoptasimilarpolicytotheSecuritySystemPolicy[1]adoptedin2004bytheAssociationofChiefPoliceOfficersofEngland,WalesandNorthernIreland.
