【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfortheestimationoftheabilityofapetroleum-typesteamturbineoiltobeseparatedfromentrainedair.NOTES1TheimpingermethoddescribedinthisInternationalStandardisusedfordeterminingtheair-releaseabilityoftheoilstested.Airbubblesdispersedintheoilinfluencethecompressibilityandcancausemalfunctions.Thismethodmaynotbesuitableforrankingoilsinapplicationswhereresidencetimesareshortandgascontentshigh.2Agitationoflubricatingoilwithairinequipmentsuchasbearings,couplings,gears,pumpsandoilreturnlines,mayproduceadispersionoffinelydividedairbubblesintheoil.Iftheresidencetimeinthereservoiristooshorttoallowtheairbubblestorisetotheoilsurface,amixtureofairandoilwillcirculatethroughthelubricatingoilsystem.Thismayresultinaninabilitytomaintainoilpressure(particularlywithcentrifugalpumps),incompleteoilfilmsinbearingsandgears,andpoorhydraulicsystemperformanceorfailure.3Thistestmeasuresthetimefortheentrainedaircontenttofalltotherelativelylowvalueof0,2%(V/V)underastandardizedsetoftestconditions,andhencepermitsthecomparisonoftheabilityofoilstoseparateentrainedairunderconditionswhereaseparationtimeisavailable.Althoughthesignificanceofthetestresultsisnotfullyestablished,sponginessandlackofsensitivityofthecontrolsystemsofsometurbinesmayberelatedtotheairreleasepropertiesoftheoil.Systemdesignandsystempressureareothervariables.4ForthepurposesofthisInternationalStandard,theexpression"%(V/V)"isusedtorepresentthevolumefractionofamaterial.
